GIATA

The industry standard for hotel mapping and multilingual hotel content.

GIATA logo

GIATA is the Berlin-based data provider that has been the de facto standard for hotel mapping and hotel content since 1996. GIATA Multicodes consolidates the codes different suppliers assign to the same property under a single canonical GIATA ID, while the Multilingual Hotel Guide delivers hotel descriptions, images and amenity (facts) data in many languages. The diji.tech GIATA integration de-duplicates identical hotels arriving from your suppliers, removes repeated rows from search results and feeds your hotel detail pages from one enriched content source.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. GIATA does not sell hotel inventory or rates; it is a data provider that matches and enriches hotel records coming from other suppliers. Your bookings still run through suppliers such as Hotelbeds, WebBeds or TBO, while GIATA confirms that those records point to the same property.

Before mapping, an agency working with five suppliers sees the same hotel five times in a search result, under five different names and addresses. GIATA IDs merge those records into a single row, so your customer sees one hotel card with the best supplier rate surfaced beneath it. Room-level mapping means the comparison is made between genuinely equivalent room types.

Thanks to the diji.tech infrastructure, the GIATA integration is completed within an average of 1 business day.
